The fundamental objectives of CEAD are:

1. Produce scientific knowledge in the field of adult education and community intervention, nationally and internationally.
2. Contribute to innovation and cooperation through research and intervention in the field of adult education and community intervention.
3. Promote a scientific culture of initiation and integration of younger researchers.
4. Build partnerships with civil society organizations and other entities with concerns related to research in the field of adult education and community intervention;
5. Support civil society institutions with intervention at the educational and social level and foster a culture of participation, cooperation and networking.
